A client commission for a statement necklace/collar created using forged sterling silver and Czech UV active neon glass cabochons in purple, pink and yellow.

A special commission for my daughter's birthday using 'bowlerite'. Bowlerite is the name given to the material derived from the outer skin of vintage Tenpin bowling balls. To keep the upcycled design I set the stone into hand textured sterling silver with a scalloped bezel and then detailed a 'tie' in silver wire to fit across the bale. Finished off with a patina and a leather cord threaded through the bale.

A birthday present commission for a statement ring using this very unusual resin eye. Set into sterling silver with a fancy bezel and textured surround on a 10mm plain sterling shank.

A client commissioned handmade sterling silver and gold filled statement ring set with a stunning natural dendritic Peruvian blue opal. The stone was portrait set on a hand textured swirl effect seat with a fine silver bezel and a halo of gold filled twisted design wire.The flat shank was textured with matching swirl texturing.

A 60th birthday gift with 6 interwoven sterling silver rings to represent each decade created into a Russian wedding ring design pendant and a natural faceted peridot drop to represent the birthstone for August. The pendant was mounted on an 18" sterling silver belcher chain.

Some time ago I was given a tatty and broken silver teaspoon with a suggestion to melt it and use the silver. The sterling silver hallmark on the underside of the spoon was the anchor of Birmingham, the lower case 'h' for 1907 and WD for William Devenport. I didn't have the heart to melt it down so it's lived in my scrap pot for several years. Well like a phoenix it's risen from the 'scrap pot'. I soldered it back together, flattened the spoon and turned it into a ring. Great thing is it still has the clear hallmark inside. This has been gratefully accepted by my daughter but still deserves a place in my 'commissions' section..

A client commission for a heavy sterling silver chain bracelet. Each of the 3mm thick links in this contemporary silver bracelet have been individually forged by hand using traditional silversmithing tools. The bracelet has been finished with a handmade hoop and bar clasp to compliment the links. The finished bracelet weighs a chunky 57.6g. Chain making is a labour intensive task but is very rewarding especially when your client is delighted with the finished result.

An unusual commission ring created as a special birthday gift. At the centre of the ring is a bright orange 8mm rose cut carnelian gemstone which has been bezel set and mounted onto a handmade twisted wire shank in oxidised sterling silver with sterling silver granulations to form an eye-like design.

Neptune's Candy Bar - two birthday commissioned pieces created with Seaham seaglass. The first a bracelet with seaglass pebbles threaded onto a sterling silver rod and interspersed with handmade sterling silver disks and finished with a sterling silver belcher chain. The second piece also features three small seaglass pebbles which have been set into sterling silver stacking rings to be worn together or separately.

A special birthday commission for a girl who loves horses. Handmade sterling silver hoop pendant featuring a horse head silhouette. Hand forged circular pendant with a silhouette horse head in sterling silver sheet and hand made and textured flowers/ leaves, vines and bead decorations around the hoop. The pendant was hung onto a sterling silver 18" belcher chain using loose 2 Belcher and soldered lobster clasp with jump rings fittings.

A client commission of a pair of handmade sterling silver stud earrings which have been bezel set with two gorgeous pieces of Fordite chosen from a selection by the client. Fordite is also known as Detroit agate or Motor City agate, and is formed from layers of old automotive paint from the spray shops which has then hardened sufficiently to be cut and polished

Black Onyx & Sterling Silver Men's Saddle Ring

A special commission piece in black onyx and sterling silver. The client requested a saddle style ring with a rectangular black onyx cabochon stone to be amalgamated with a heavy plain polished band. A particularly tricky ring to hand make due to the various separate components but a very happy client.

A requested commission to set a beautiful piece of fordite, supplied by the client, into a statement piece necklace. The fordite has been bezel set onto a handmade sterling silver textured pendant to reflect the movement of the design on the stone. A heavy handmade bail holds the pendant onto a semi rigid chain.

Pirate's Booty - a commissioned seaglass with handmade sterling silver disks and men's pirate style bracelet with. The bracelet also has sterling silver skulls threaded on and a heavy belcher chain which has been oxidised for contrast..

A very special commission. A dark blue seaglass and sterling silver statement ring that I've called 'Maelstrom' meaning a powerful whirlpool. The ring has texturing and granulation to depict movement and has been oxidised for contrast.

Hand forged and textured sugar skull 'couple' bracelet in sterling silver with belcher chain and a embellished lobster clasp.The charms have been made as a couple with the 'girl' having flowers in her hair and the 'man' with his flower decorated hat, and both have their faces 'painted'.

Bespoke handmade sterling silver and Baltic amber 'Art Deco' style chain drop earrings. The earrings have been hand forged and textured in sterling silver in an 'Art Deco' style with Baltic amber cabochons and sterling silver chain.The ear wires are handmade in a 'shepherd's crook' design.

A bespoke handmade sterling silver and labradorite pendant. The pendant has been set with large blue and multi flash labradorite cabochon and features a hand pierced crescent moon with a tiny radiating star on the reverse. The pendant hangs on a bespoke made semi circular necklace with a handmade circle and bar toggle fastening.My client allowed me to design this pendant necklace which was a gift for a special family member. My only remit was that the stone had to be labradorite and it had to feature a crescent moon design on the reverse side.

A bespoke handmade sterling silver and bloodstone jasper crossover dress ring. The ring features an oval profile crossover shank with an 8mm bloodstone jasper bezel set cabochon between the crossover shank.

Bespoke handmade sterling silver and labradorite pendant necklace for a lovely client in France. The necklace, which was created exactly to the client's own specifications, features a heavy circular sterling silver domed pendant set with a large multi flash labradorite cabochon which has been bezel set to the centre. The pendant mounted onto 1.5mm thick sterling silver neck wire with hook and ball clasp to the back.

Men's Sterling Silver Ring With Amber Stone

Men's sterling silver 10mm heavy band set with an Amber cabochon stone. The client requested a satin finish to the ring.

A statement necklace using a piece of gold Orsoni Venetian mosaic glass tile supplied by the client. I was given free rein by the client to design and create a 'stunning necklace'. The mosaic piece was set and mounted into sterling silver, and hung from a semi neck wire and chain combination with a hand made clasp at the back. The naturally occurring design that emerged onto the tile from the firing process was replicated on the reverse of the pendant by hand piercing.

A contemporary design pirate dagger pendant commission made from heavy gauge sterling silver and wrapped with shaped wire to form a guard. The pendant was mounted onto a leather lace with a sterling silver clasp.

'His and Hers' pirate style rings designed by the client. Each ring has two spinner rings in the centre and has a ragged but smooth finish to the edges for comfort. The rings were given a scratched effect finish and the larger spinners textured.

A statement necklace using a large piece of Orsoni Venetian mosaic tile supplied by the client. My remit by the client was to simply create a statement necklace of my own design. The mosaic piece was mounted onto sterling silver in a bezel set and the pendant was then hung onto a bespoke sterling silver neck wire along with reducing and radiating lengths of square solid sterling silver hand forged bars.
