"Mirage - An optical illusion in which nonexistent bodies of water and upside-down reflections of objects appear in the distance." Glistening like a mirage this striking statement piece necklace comprises of 36 separate hand forged and individually textured bars of sterling silver. Each bar, measuring 2.8mm wide and just over 1mm thick, is slightly rounded on the ends and separately soldered to form a loop around the sterling silver belcher chain. The lengths of the bars vary from 30mm up to 55mm at the longest and are designed to give the illusion of glistening water. The overall length of the necklace is 42cms or 16.5in and is fastened at the back of the neck by a handmade ring and bar clasp which are also textured to match. Although weighing 51gms this necklace sits beautifully flat against the chest and is very comfortable to wear. All OmertaJewellery is presented in a branded gift box tied with matching organza ribbon.
