With its triple circle effect depicting the phases of an eclipse, this one-of-a-kind sterling silver dress ring has been hand textured to reflect the radiating colours of this stunning Finnish spectrolite stone. Known as the 'Stone of Light' spectrolite is a feldspar, like labradorite, but the only occurrence of spectrolite is in Ylämaa, near the town of Lappeenranta in South East Finland. It exudes the most beautiful iridescent metallic shades of greens, violet and blues - certainly reflecting the Northern Lights of Finland. The ring has been created with a 'comfort fit' shank which is a type of fitting that is domed in the interior (where the ring touches the finger), instead of flat, like a standard fit ring. The diameter at the exact middle of the ring (between the two edges) is smaller than the diameter at the edges of the ring.The advantages of 'comfort fit' are the ring slides over the knuckle easier and the ring creates less friction because it covers less skin surface area. All Omerta Jewellery is presented in a branded gift box tied with matching organza ribbon. Note: This a genuine Finnish spectrolite stone and was purchased by Omerta Jewellery directly from the Ylämaa mine in Finland.
